Do you have a passion for GIS and education? Consider joining our Educational Services Division as a Course Developer. There are currently three openings at our headquarters in Redlands, California.
Course developers apply their writing talents and communication skills to ensure Esri instructor-led and web-based training materials meet the needs of our customers. From evaluation and development to revision and validation, they work with subject matter experts and the latest Esri technology to develop new courses and enhance existing curriculum.
“Things are always evolving here at Esri, whether it’s new software, functionality, or versions,” says Stephanie, a course developer on the content team. “My job is to change with the software in order to create courses, demonstrations, and other educational materials that will help our users adapt to these changes and get excited about them at the same time.”
The specific requirements for each position vary, but in general Sandra, the recruiter for Educational Services, says, “We are seeking individuals who have a passion for education and GIS, because this role will allow them to bring that passion to life and create instructional materials that will help make our users successful.”
