While the weather and electricity of the Esri UC in San Diego never disappoint, and there is more than enough to look at, make sure you check out the Youth Community GIS section of the posters. One of the posters tells the story of Josh, a Cub Scout tracking his popcorn sales using Collector.
Josh is the son of an Esri Business Partner, Skye, and when they heard about the popcorn sales, Dad asked if he’d like to use an app to help him do his work. They set up data, made a map, and took Collector to the field. I had a chance to chat with Josh and his dad, and hear about the project directly from the 10-year-old. Continue reading
