New NuGet Packages for ArcGIS Runtime SDK for .NET v100.0

Recently we released some updates to our NuGet packages designed to streamline your development experience and provide you with additional resources for building your .NET apps based on the new ArcGIS Runtime SDK for .NET v100.

Toolkit Beta 1 for ArcGIS Runtime SDK for .NET v100.0

First announced in this blog post back in December 2016, the Toolkit for ArcGIS Runtime SDK for .NET v100 is now available as a Beta on NuGet for use with your UWP and WPF app projects. Because it is a beta, to see it in Visual Studio you’ll need to check the ‘Include prerelease’ box in the NuGet Package Manager dialog. We are still working on Toolkit controls for Xamarin.Android, Xamarin.iOS and Xamarin.Forms and hope to make those available soon. In addition to the NuGet package, all the source code for the Toolkit and information about the controls included in this first Beta release is still available in the v100 branch on in the Github repo. We look forward to hearing your feedback on the Toolkit beta, and please submit any bugs you find as issues in the Toolkit repo. Please be aware that while we will add more controls we might also significantly refactor these controls (or even remove some), so expect changes when you pull updated code from time to time. You can keep an eye on this Pull Request to monitor changes we’re making.

Esri.ArcGISRuntime v100.0

Throughout the 10.2.x generation of releases, we published a single Esri.ArcGISRuntime NuGet package that you could reference for your Desktop (WPF), Store 8.1, and Phone 8.1 app projects. This package, updated for the v100.x generation of releases, continues that tradition but now allows you to reference a single package for all your WPF, UWP, Xamarin.Android, and Xamarin.iOS app projects. The package simply references each of the individual Esri.ArcGISRuntime.* API/platform specific packages as dependencies and will only add the appropriate package based on the type of app project you are building (UWPWPFXamarin.Android, or Xamarin.iOS). If you’re working with Xamarin.Forms you should continue to reference the Esri.ArcGISRuntime.Xamarin.Forms package.

Thanks
