More World Imagery is planned to be updated next week… including DigitalGlobe Metro content for more than 100 metro areas around the world.

This comment was written 5 months ago and we still only have 2011-2012 hi-res aerial imagery for the Oklahoma City area and most of Oklahoma. If, by updates, you are talking NAIP aerials, that is a poor response. Those aerials are 1 meter resolution and pretty worthless except for the most general mapping. With the resources that ESRI has and a President worth $3.1 billion, it is not hard to see where the money goes that we spend on this overpriced, poorly written, pathetically slow software. We should be getting new aerials on the World Imagery basemap every year. Guess I will go back to using Google Earth.
