Navigator for ArcGIS on Android has released!

We are excited to announce that after months of listening to your feedback about the beta of Navigator for ArcGIS on the Android platform, we have released the app! Download Navigator for ArcGIS from Google Play and see how your field workforce members can get to where they need to be on Android devices.

Navigator on Android has all of the same features as the 2.0 version of Navigator on iOS, which released in July. Here’s a refresher on the key 2.0 enhancements:

  1. Create and use your own custom navigation maps that support searching for your own assets, routing on your own roads, and visualizing your layers
  2. Ensure that field workers receive the best routes based on their travel modes, by enabling the route optimization setting
  3. Use our custom URL scheme so your users can start Navigator from your app, website, or email, and navigate based on parameters you’ve provided
  4. Support for Portal for ArcGIS 10.4 and later

Also, Navigator on Android is available in all of the same languages as Navigator on iOS, as well as Estonian, Latvian, and Lithuanian.

We’re happy to provide the full capabilities of Navigator to Android users. Get the app today and see how it can make your organization’s travel more efficient and your workforce more reliable.

If you’d like a brief introduction on the key features of Navigator, check out this new video on Esri’s training site. You’ll learn how to use Navigator maps offline, work seamlessly with other ArcGIS field apps, and integrate with custom stop lists.
