The World Imagery and World Topographic Maps have been updated with Community Contributions

New content, expanded coverage and updates to the World Imagery and World Topographic Maps available!

The most recent ArcGIS Online basemap release includes new and updated Community Map contributions to the World Imagery and World Topographic Maps. The World Imagery Map now includes new high resolution imagery for Sauk County, Wisconsin, and select parts of Texas. The World Topographic Map includes new and updated content for cities and counties throughout the United States.

These contributions help enhance content in the Living Atlas of the World and adds value and usability to Esri’s online basemaps. Through the Community Maps Program, Esri continues to incorporate useful large-scale features as these examples will show. See information below about becoming part of this community.
