Briefing Book Retirement Announcement

At the June 2016 ArcGIS Solutions Release the Briefing Book and any ready-to-use maps and apps that contain the Briefing Book will move to the Retired Lifecycle Phase.

This includes:

Briefing Book was created by Esri’s Solutions Division to enable ArcGIS users to create and view map-based briefings and reports with interactive content.  Briefing Book requires an organization to host a companion JavaScript application on a webserver. As ArcGIS has evolved most of the capabilities of Briefing Book are available through other parts of the ArcGIS Platform.

Since Briefing Book is open source, after retirement users will still be able to access and extend Briefing Book source code on GitHub at https://github.com/Esri/briefing-book
