With so much going on at UC, sometimes you just need a break. Over the past two years, the GeoLounge has quickly become a popular place to rest your feet and connect with other GIS professionals.

You’ll find the GeoLounge and its array of sofas, recliners, and bean bag chairs upstairs in Ballroom 20 A/B. In addition to the comfortable furniture, the GeoLounge is also outfitted with plenty of power stations for you to recharge your mobile devices and laptops. If you don’t have your own laptop, you can still access the Internet by using one of the available computers.

Since you may not want to leave the GeoLounge once you’ve found it, there’s a mini theater that streams selected sessions throughout the week, including Monday’s plenary session. We’re also adding a media wall this year that showcases the latest tweets, Flickr images, agenda updates, and more.
