Best Practices for Chat Support

Esri Support Services offers a variety of ways for you to contact us with your support needs. One of these channels of communication is the option to Chat with on Analyst, which can be accessed on the main page of the Support website.

Chatting with an analyst offers an alternative to e-mail and phone initiated incidents. Check out the Chat with an Analyst post to learn more about it!

For the best experience when chatting with a support analyst, we recommend that you make sure your bowser is configured to allow for pop-ups.

For example, if you use Google Chrome, ensure that you modify the browser’s settings and permit it to open pop-up windows. To change this setting, navigate to Settings > Privacy > Content settings and select “Allow all sites to show pop-ups”.

If you start a chat session with a support analyst and receive the following error message, double check your browser settings to verify that pop ups are allowed.
