Between now and the Esri User Conference 2011, the Support Services team will deploy a number of enhancements to the Esri Support site that will positively affect search, navigation and the look-and-feel of our Web site.
In the coming weeks, you’ll first notice the Support banner on Support knowledgebase, downloads, and software pages. Also, during this time, we had an opportunity to redesign and improve some pages, and enhance content delivery. An example is the GIS Dictionary, which is also coming out this month and will include graphics accompanying terms, the ability to search for a selected term and “identifiers”, such as CARTOGRAPHY & PHYSICS, denoting a specific use for the selected word.
While we will take all necessary steps to test these pages thoroughly before launch, some of these changes may impact your existing bookmarks. Please rest assured that our team is working diligently to ensure that these changes are a seamless experience for you. If you experience difficulty, would like to give us feedback or just have some good ideas for us, don’t hesitate to let us know by leaving a comment.
Keep an eye on this blog for more communication from us as we move ahead on these projects.
