The last six months have been a busy time for the Certification team. With the ArcGIS 10.2 release last summer, all exams had to be reviewed and evaluated against the platform changes. Several certifications have new exams at version 10.2, and the process to develop those exams concurrently was intense. Here’s a roundup of the latest certification news.
10.2 Exam Releases
Three version 10.2 exams are now open for registration:
- ArcGIS Desktop Developer Associate 10.2
- Web Application Developer Associate 10.2
- Enterprise Administration Associate 10.2
If you’re interested in taking one of these exams, as always be sure to carefully review the candidate qualifications and the skills measured by the exam to assess your readiness and preparation strategy.
The 10.2 version of the Enterprise System Design Associate exam is currently in beta testing. The final exam should be released next month.

Directory of Esri-Certified Individuals
Have you heard? Certified individuals can now choose to be included in our new online Directory. This first phase includes name, country, and certifications achieved. Customers and potential employers can easily search the Directory to find candidates with a relevant certification for their project needs and open positions.
If you don’t see yourself in the Directory and would like to, you can opt in by updating your certification record. Feel free to e-mail the team questions or suggestions about the Directory to firstname.lastname@example.org or share with the Esri Technical Certification group on LinkedIn.
