Prepare to Share Your GIS Content
During last week’s Best Practices for Working with Map Templates live training seminar, Adam Pittman from ESRI’s Technical Sales team showed how to find a map template, use a template to improve another map in minutes, and then prepare template-based content for sharing. A map template is a collection of resources from ESRI that you can download to create professonal-quality maps for print, the Web, and mobile applications.
The concept of sharing GIS content is not new—GIS professionals have been sharing data and maps for years. But the growth of Web GIS has made it far easier than ever before to share your content and access the content of others in the community.
