In March we rolled out quite a few updates to Esri products and the Operations Dashboard for ArcGIS was no exception. A lot of exciting new features were added and you can find a full list of updates on our doc site or a preview of them from this blog article.
Perhaps the most sought after request that we added this release is to extend the reach of Dashboard beyond Windows Desktops and laptops and add support for tablets (iPads and Android tablets) so that more people within the organization can use it. With the 10.2.2 release, we have done just that by building Dashboard into the browser so it can run across platforms.
This blog article will describe how you can author operation views that target the browser and highlight capabilities within the browser app itself. Continue reading
Late breaking news! The apps team just released an update to the Operations Dashboard for ArcGIS! Version 10.2.2 is available for right now and you can download the Windows Dashboard here.
We have added support for opening and viewing operation views within in a Browser so now the same real-time view of operations is available on your iPad or Android tablet as well as your Windows desktop. For more details, read this blog post or even better, take a look at our new doc!
NOTE: Portal for ArcGIS customers will be able to download the Windows app deployment utility from the customer care site late next week but will need to wait for the Browser app to be rolled out this summer.
This morning we released a minor update to the Operations Dashboard to address an issue connecting to services through a proxy (NIM097295). If you are using ArcGIS Online then you can either wait for the Operations Dashboard to notify you of an update or you can uninstall and download the update from ArcGIS Online now. If you are using Portal for ArcGIS, we are uploading utility and it will be available inside of the Customer Care portal Monday January 27th. Look for a download titled “Operations Dashboard for ArcGIS 10.2 Update 1 Deployment Utility”.
Along with Collector for ArcGIS, last year we introduced a new app called the Operations Dashboard. Both Collector and Dashboard are simply a part of your ArcGIS organization. The Operations Dashboard is a great planning and monitoring tool that brings to life the power of the geospatial content you manage. Armed with a powerful collection of widgets you can view and interact with your data in both a spatial and statistical context. To learn more about the Operations Dashboard or to try it out yourself – check out our online doc site.

Over the course of this past week we started rolling out updates to the Collector for ArcGIS app and now the Operations Dashboard for ArcGIS as well. The Apps team is happy to announce that these updates are now live and ready for you to start to use!
If you are using the Operations Dashboard, you may have noticed today that we pushed an update. This is the first of two updates that are coming to you in the next few weeks. This first push simply updates our client-side app licensing. It’s important that you update your Dashboard as soon as you can so if it is currently running, close it. You will want to uninstall it from your machine and then force the update by clicking on the download link and installing a fresh new version. Simply re-installing or updating your existing install will not work. Continue reading
