At the start of this new year, we’re happy to announce that a new version of ArcGIS Runtime SDK for iOS is now available. . This release adds support for commonly requested functionality such as advanced military symbology, secure communication using PKI client certificates, simulating location updates, sorting and grouping query results, and much more. You can download the SDK here.
We have updated the ArcGIS for Android app to address some important bug fixes that address concerns over usability and stability just in time for the Holidays!
Issues addressed in this update:
- NIM084775 – map layers secured with the same credentials will prompt you once to sign in.
- NIM084516 – ArcGIS now fully supports all of the editing options associated with a feature service.
- NIM084565 – we have improved accuracy when using the Measure Tool with different units of measure.
With continued support for emergency operations, the Disaster Response Team within Esri has provided ready-to-use Damage Survey templates for use with iPhones, iPads and Android devices. You can publish these templates within your ArcGIS Online organization and deploy to your response and recovery teams. Continue reading
