At the 2014 User Conference we demonstrated Business Analyst 64-bit Background Geoprocessing in various presentations and at the Location Analytics island. The reception was overwhelmingly positive and this functionality has been a huge “want” for users to integrate into their workflows.

As of July 7, 2014, Business Analyst Online will be accessible in the same manner as other Esri premium apps. To access Business Analyst Online, the application must be provisioned to users’ ArcGIS Online organization (this is done by Esri Customer Service at the time of purchase) and shared with a group within that organization. Users who need access to Business Analyst Online must be a member of the group within the ArcGIS Online organization. The administrator for the ArcGIS Online organization can control who is invited to the group. Users who need access to Business Analyst Online should contact the administrator for their ArcGIS Online Organization.
Esri has just released the 2014 US Data Update online… so not only is this data available in ArcGIS Online maps and services, and products like Business Analyst Online (BAO) and Esri Maps… it’s also available to Business Analyst Desktop. Continue reading

The 2013 Demographic Data is now available! This data can now be consumed in a variety of applications, such as Business Analyst Online and Business Analyst Desktop or Esri Maps for Office, etc.
Currently, Business Analyst Desktop 10.2 (available via download in the Customer Care Portal) uses 2012 data. So accessing the 2013 data through the Business Analyst online features is advantageous, as you don’t have to wait for it to ship on a USB drive. Continue reading
Great news – the 2012 Data is released in Esri Business Analyst 10.1 Desktop and Server. This is now immediately available from our Customer Care site and traditional USB media install will be sent out in the coming weeks.
