… please be aware that the 2011/2016 Esri USA Data Update that recently shipped for Business Analyst should only be installed on ArcGIS 10.0.

We are hard at work preparing for a summer release of the 10.1 version of Business Analyst… which can be installed with ArcGIS 10.1.

Esri Maps for Office 1.0 Public Beta released!

We’re pleased to announce the Public Beta release of Esri Maps for Office. With this release, Esri Maps for Office is now publicly available through the Esri Beta Community website

Esri Maps for Office is a powerful add-in for Microsoft Office that brings the capabilities of Esri’s mapping platform to Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint users.

With Esri Maps for Office you can easily create interactive maps of you organization’s data, enabling you to see patterns that graphs and charts cannot reveal. Any of the interactive maps you create can be embedded in PowerPoint, so you can make your presentations even more impactful. And by leveraging Esri’s mapping cloud, you can quickly and securely share your interactive maps in web pages, blogs, mobile apps as well as with ArcGIS users.

It’s coming – 6/12/12!

New Resource Center Home page

This Resource Center is getting a facelift and a fresh new look. We’re updating the color and styling of the website, adding tutorials for you to try ArcGIS, improving the gallery and video experiences, and much more.

We’ve been testing the website improvements as part of ArcGIS 10.1 Beta and Prerelease and now, in conjunction with its release, we’re ready to share the website improvements with everyone.

Esri Demographic Data is the Most Accurate!

The release of each decennial census enables data vendors to evaluate the accuracy of their annual demographic estimates. Data vendors could also learn how their estimates compare to other providers. Esri took advantage of this once-a-decade opportunity and commissioned an independent study to obtain an unbiased answer about its data accuracy.
