My friends on the Business Analyst team invited me to blog about some of the work I’ve been doing with the Business Analyst Online API.  As a Technical Engineer on Esri’s Technical Marketing team in Redlands, CA, I focus on creating cool demos and prototypes of our developer technologies.        

In Lauren Rosenshein’s blog post she wrote about a Silverlight application that allows decision-makers to look at crime patterns over time and create statistically significant hotspot maps of violent crime in the San Francisco area.  Once the hotspot map has been created, users, analysts, stakeholders, and decision makers can gain valuable insight into what’s going on in these areas through an exploration of demographic information.
