Community Map Layers Updated for the Arabian Peninsula, Central and Western Europe, United Kingdom and United States

Thanks to user contributions, the World Topographic Map has been updated with many improvements from the Arabian Peninsula to Europe and the United States.

The State of Kuwait has been updated from 1:577K to 1:1K. Kuwait is situated on the northeastern coast of the Arabian Peninsula between Iraq and Saudi Arabia. In terms of land area, Kuwait is one of the smallest countries in the world. Although small, it is home to some of the world’s richest oil fields. Kuwait City, the capital city, lies in the heart of the country. The city is home to a large variety of shopping malls and renowned retailers that influence Kuwaiti’s social scene.

Several map layers have been updated in Switzerland with this release, and the updated scale level from 1:36K to 1:1K offers great new detail. The images below compare the old and new design for Davos and Geneva.
