There are several new raster geoprocessing features in the latest Desktop release.
There are 3 new tools available:
• The Compute Pansharpen Weights tool – calculates the pan-sharpening weights for any set of pan-sharpening datasets.
• The Merge Mosaic Dataset Items tool – merges mosaic dataset items into the same row.
• The Split Mosaic Dataset Items tool – unmerges any mosaic dataset items that have been merged together previously.
There are many geoprocessing tools that have been enhanced:
|Add Rasters to Mosaic Dataset||New raster types available: DMCii, Landsat8*, Pleaides, SOCET SET, SPOT 6.|
|Alter Mosaic Dataset Schema||New keyword called CACHE (for the Operations parameter).|
|Build Seamlines||New parameter for Blend Width Units and keyword called Edge Detection (for Computation Method).|
|Clip||New parameter called Maintain Clipping Extent.|
|Generate Tile Cache Tiling Scheme||Input can now be an MXD.|
|Set Mosaic Dataset Properties||Two new parameters: Data Source Type and Minimum Pixel Contribution. Also the SUM Mosaic Operator has been added.|
|Mosaic||New keyword called SUM (for the Mosaic Operator parameter).|
|Register Raster||Input can now be a mosaic dataset.|
