In a previous post we discussed the importance of creating a good ArcGIS Online profile. While the profile editor is intended for simple text entry, you can improve your profile formatting using these techniques.
After you sign in to your ArcGIS Online account, click your name to view your profile:
Next, click Edit my profile to begin editing:
While you don’t have a set of HTML editing tools in the profile editor, you can add some HTML formatting and special characters using HTML decimal codes.
For example, if you want to add a carriage return and line feed for better formatting, use the HTML decimal codes for those inline in your text, as shown below:

With these simple changes you can improve the appearance of your profile.
