New ArcGIS Help Topics Address Common Parcel Editing Workflows

This week, the ArcGIS Online Help system was updated and now includes instructions for a series of parcel editing workflows that guide you through common parcel editing tasks. For example, there are workflows for tasks like parcel merge, parcel split and new parcel subdivision.   These workflows leverage the Tax Parcel Editing Map available on the ArcGIS for Local Government Resource Center.

The new help documentation can be used as a tutorial with sample data provided in the Tax Parcel Editing Map, or you can use these workflows with your own data that has been loaded in to Esri’s Tax Parcel Editing Map.

Make sure you check out the Workflows tips and tricks section. You’ll find annotation tips and tricks and some general tips for working with and configuring the Tax Parcel Editing Map.

Over time, we will continue to grow this collection of workflow documentation. For example, a workflow on a parcel fabric adjustment is coming soon.  Finally, if you feel we are missing any parcel editing workflows that would be valuable to your organization, please let us know.
