Finding your old favorite blog

We’ve heard lots of feedback over the last few days from users who want to find the old “Insert your favorite” blog. Unfortunately the redirects we had in place when we deployed the new ArcGIS Blog pointed to its home page instead of these specific locations, leading to many unhappy readers. We have most of these redirects in place now & will have the rest completed today. If you’d rather not wait, here’s a table matching the old individual blogs to their corresponding URLs and RSS feeds in the new unified blog.

    Can you help explain how to get from an old blog url to the blog post’s new location?

    For example, I’m looking for this:

    It’s now a dead link.

    Also, we will add a redirect to the old URL so that it jumps to this new one, for those who are trying to find it also. Apologies for any inconvenience this caused.

    The 3D GIS link (the very first link in the table) is still redirecting to the archive page with this article, “Finding your old favorite blog” at the top. Does this mean that the 3D GIS no longer has a blog or that somehow the first link in the table was never checked?

      The 3D GIS link is correct. However, no posts have included the 3D GIS tag since this one; as a result, the latest post you see when going to the 3D GIS link is this one. Continue to follow the 3D GIS tag by URL or RSS feed for 3D-related posts.
