I just heard from the ArcGIS Release Manager that Service Pack 1 (SP1) is schedule for release next week on the Esri Support site. There are some key improvements in SP1 so make sure and check back next week when it’s released.

Cool. Thanks for the heads up.
Krap, looks like high quality printing rest service isn’t in this!
Will the patch number NIM058231 be added to this service pack? Can I apply the patch and the service pack in two weeks with NO problems?
Kim
This week has come and gone. Any update on release?
Kim,
NIM058231 is included in 10.0 SP1. I don’t know when the release date for the service pack is, although I was queried today about whether my ‘area’ is ready-to-ship (it is).
John,
A problem was found, so there’s a short delay. See

Coming November 11?
The plan is to release SP1 as a web download on Thursday Nov 11th.

Rob,
When can we expect SP2, since SP1 missed several necessary issues?

Rob, any update on SP2 release for us? Mainly looking for better performance issues to be resolved. Thanks!
