9/15/08—The USA Prime Imagery map service, I3_Imagery_Prime_World_2D, will soon be disabled on the ArcGIS Online Services standard server (i.e., http://services.arcgisonline.com). This premium service was made freely available for preview and testing purposes during the ArcGIS Online Services beta period. Now that the beta period has ended, the USA Prime Imagery service is available for subscription access, including a free trial.

The I3_Imagery_Prime_World_2D service will be disabled on the http://services.arcgisonline.com server on or after Oct. 16, 2008. If you have references to this service built into your maps or applications, you can update them to reference another service such as the World Imagery service, ESRI_Imagery_World_2D, which is a standard service that will continue to be freely available. If you would like to continue using the USA Prime Imagery service, you may subscribe now to this service.
