Retired ArcGIS Online Services

9/5/08—ESRI has retired a set of services that are no longer necessary to retain. Most of these services were replaced with more current or complete services or contained outdated information that cannot be maintained.

The following services were retired:

MODIS_BurnZone_SoCal N/A
MODIS_BurnZone_SoCal_2D N/A
NASA_Elevation_World ESRI_Elevation_World, which includes more detail
NASA_SatelliteBathy_World ESRI_Imagery_World, which includes more detail
NASA_SatelliteBathy_World_2D ESRI_Imagery_World_2D, which includes more detail
USGS_Elevation_World ESRI_Elevation_World, which includes more coverage

In some cases, ESRI recommends a service to use in place of the retired service. ESRI removed any references to the retired services from our published maps, but, if you are referencing them in your maps and applications, please update the references.
