7/22/08—The USA Prime Imagery 2D service, I3_Imagery_Prime_World_2D, was updated to include more recent, high-resolution imagery. Updated imagery was provided by i-cubed for approximately 40% of the continental United States for this release. The updated imagery comes from a variety of sources, including recent NAIP imagery for several states (e.g., Washington, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, Wyoming, Kansas, Oklahoma, Alabama, New York,  etc.) as well as updates from Aerials Express for selected cities (e.g., Los Angeles, San Diego, Phoenix, etc.). This update was applied for the most detailed, large scale levels below 1:50,000-scale for the service.
