What could be a better a better way to kick back and have fun after an action-packed week than a party? How about a party full of jazz, food, and street performances on a scenic marina?

New acquaintances and old friends will convene at the Embarcadero North Marina Park (behind the Manchester Grand Hyatt Hotel) to enjoy the festivities and watch the sun set over the Pacific Ocean.

People will be loading up their plates with BBQ beef brisket, southern potato salad, corn on the cob, and a variety of fare for all different tastes. Delicious Bavarian berry custard will be the perfect pinnacle of the summer-themed meal. Complimentary iced tea, hot tea, and coffee will be offered. Soda, bottled water, wine, and beer will be available for purchase with drink tickets, cash, or traveler's checks at mini bars located throughout the park.

Caricaturists, jugglers, face painters, and more will entertain you and your family. So make sure you get away from your computer tonight and join the biggest GIS party of the year!

The bash starts at 5:30 p.m., but make sure you purchase any additional tickets in advance at the Activities Booth in the Grand Lobby of the SDCC. If you signed up to attend the party, your party and complimentary drink tickets can be found inside your badge holder.
