For those interested and active in working with GIS in education, you know how important learning from others can be. The sharing of ideas and keeping up with others' work is so very valuable for our personal development and classroom excellence.

The GIS Education Community is pleased to invite you to share your knowledge and learn from others - by creating your very own profile - and exploring others'. In time, information in these profiles will allow you to directly connect to other educators who share your experiences - and your challenges.

1. To create your profile, you will need to create a no-cost, ESRI Global Id. The process generally takes less than 1 minute - and is required for access to many of the most exciting features on the Ed Community. *Go to http://edcommunity.esri.com - Click on "Login" in the upper left. Click the "Create An Account" Tab.

2. Head over to the profiles area on the EdCommunity and "Update My Profile" at: http://edcommunity.esri.com/community/profiles.cfm

Tell the community what you are up to - and be sure to upload your picture.
