The Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science (SIAST) (Woodland Campus, Prince Albert, Saskatchewan) GIS class carved a beautiful pumpkin on October 31 as a class project to tie in with GIS Day 2007. The outlines for the land formations were drawn freehand with a globe as a reference, then the water elements were carved out with a chisel. The class won first prize in the campus pumpkin carving competition!
