How to Get Approval for the 2008 ESRI Developer Summit
PREPARE. Go in armed with all the necessary materials to make a good case to attend. Visit www.esri.com/devsummit and review the session descriptions and travel information. Download the descriptions and circle the sessions you are interested in attending.
TEACH. Promise to hold a postconference brown-bag lunch session with your colleagues back in the office to share the session notes and tips you picked up from other attendees on how to build better GIS solutions.
RELATE. Show how specific problems or issues you've recently encountered can be solved with one of the more than 50 sessions offered at ESRI's Developer Summit.
SHARE. As an attendee, you will receive access to all the session presentations. That means you'll get education even for the sessions you can't attend personally.
CHOOSE. There are six sessions in a given time slot. That means that you'll always find something that fits your needs.
LAUNCH. The ESRI Developer Summit helps you get a jump start on building and deploying GIS solutions. Strengthen your skills. Learn fundamentals. Discuss trends. Network with others. See what's next and get off the ground-fast!
MEET. You'll have the opportunity to talk to top ESRI software experts with real-world experience. Get focused help with your code or give your feedback for future GIS development. They're ready to talk to you!
DECIDE. Give a deadline to make a decision. Present the information and ask for an answer within a specified time frame.
