Welcome to ESRI Blogs

What is the ESRI Knowledge Base?

The ESRI Knowledge Base is a searchable collection of useful resources including known issues with the software, “How To” type documents, frequently asked questions (FAQ), common error messages or problems and system requirement information. Often referred to internally as “KB docs”, Knowledge Base documents are authored by many different sources within ESRI. I consider the information within our Knowledge Base to be an underused resource when it comes to obtaining information about our software.

Take for example the ESRI Spatial Type for Oracle, there are a number of KB docs in the Knowledge Base that focus specifically on this topic. So much so, in fact, that there is a separate section in the support page to deal with this topic.

If you have not been to the Knowledge Base section of the support site in a while check it out, it might just have the information you've been looking for.
