Hello there & welcome EDN subscribers & readers!

Here's what you can expect this blog will cover in its first few months:

  • Information on new features and changes to the EDN web site
  • Summaries of & links to any new or updated content added to the site
  • Announcements that may be of particular interest to EDN subscribers and readers
  • Requests for your input on web site improvement ideas and plans
  • Links to content that addresses frequently asked questions or issues encountered

Don't expect to see a lot of:

  • General ESRI-related info
  • Detailed articles on how to do a particular task with the ESRI developer technologies. If we're seeing lots of comments or user-activity related to a specific issue, we'll certainly comment and attempt to point you in the right direction; however, for now, we're leaving the detailed discussions of how to actually do something to the technology-focused blogs (ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Explorer, & ArcGIS Mobile) & other resources offered through EDN & other ESRI web sites.

So now on to the good stuff. The posts that will follow tomorrow highlight new/updated content relevant to developers working with Desktop, Mobile, or Server GIS.
